Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to read this site and reach us through it, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard only, or magnification.
The standard we aim for
The site was built to the Israeli standard for web content accessibility (IS 5568), which is anchored in the WCAG 2.0 guidelines at level AA. It was checked with automated tools and by hand for keyboard use and contrast. It has not yet been checked with a screen reader by a certified accessibility auditor, and this statement will be updated when it is.
What the site has
- Full keyboard navigation, with a clear mark on the focused element and a "Skip to main content" link at the top of the page.
- A sound heading structure, a declared language and direction (English, left to right), and a text description for every image.
- Colour contrast of at least 4.5:1 for regular text.
- The form: a label for every field, error messages that a screen reader reads aloud, and required fields marked.
- Anyone who has set "reduce motion" in their operating system gets the page without animations and without the video. The page has no flashing motion.
- The video in the "Agents" chapter has a visible pause and play button that works from the keyboard and is read out by name. Once paused, the video does not resume by itself.
- The page reads at 200% magnification and on a phone, without horizontal scrolling.
Known limitations
- The first screen holds a field of cards cut off at the edges on purpose, shown in perspective as the floor of a hall. The field is an illustration: a name and a status for each agent or process, and in the cut-off and distant cards not even that is complete. On a narrow screen only four cards are shown. Four of the agents are described in full in the "Agents" chapter; the rest have no further description on the page.
- On a computer, while scrolling, the "Agents" chapter opens with a picture of the source collection agent's screen that fills the screen and shrinks into the player. It is a picture that moves only with the scroll, not a video; anyone who has set "reduce motion" does not see it.
- The system screens in the "Agents" chapter are pictures. On a computer they are shown as one silent video that plays the screen of the agent whose caption is in the middle of the screen, and stops at the end of each part. The text inside the screens is not read by a screen reader, and a text description accompanies every picture. On phones and narrow screens, in data-saving mode and for anyone who has set "reduce motion", only the pictures are shown and the video is not loaded.
- The product screens in the pictures and the video are in Hebrew.
- The page has not yet been tested with NVDA or VoiceOver by a certified accessibility auditor.
